The bulleted list of missional priorities at the end of this article is especially significant. While two of them apply more to the larger church, three take place at the local church level and are good goals for the new year:

1. Make sure all of our members are grounded in scripture and the Christian faith,

2. Connect people to transformational small groups, and

3. Minister to people who are marginalized and overlooked.
